Bassetlaw Play Forum has been in operation since 1983. We are a registered Children's Charity who provide services to voluntary and statutory groups that work with children and young people. Our membership is also open to parents and carers. 

We work to ensure the successful and sustained development of good quality children's play and to promote play as an essential part of child development and enjoyment.

Our Services:

Resource Centre - providing a large selection of recycled materials suitable for use in play, including fabrics, plastics, card etc.

Shop - we supply a wide range of art and craft materials such as paints, glitter and glue, buying in bulk and passing on the savings to our members.

Hire Equipment - we have a selection of play equipment such as badge machines and sensory equipment and we have tables, chairs and a mini marquee for groups to hire.

Workshops - we provide a wide range of free workshops, available to all groups, for people of all abilities which can be based on anything from Easter crafts to card making.

Mobile services - we can take our scrap resources, bulk buy items, loan equipment and workshops out to members in the outlying areas of the district.

Play events - we arrange a number of family play events around Bassetlaw that are open to all children and young people.
